What's happening?!

This is a 5-day forty hour treatment week is for adolescents with eating disorders and their parents.  

This is a cutting edge treatment that treats to the adolescents traits, and addresses the neurobiological and genetic precursors of the illness. It is a highly experiential treatment week where the adolescent and parents work within a group setting of adolescents and parents learn new tools based on trait and brain responses to reduce/eliminate eating disorder symptoms while working with the adolescents' traits to be expressed in healthy and productive ways.

This treatment week is not a one-time end-all eating disorder treatment!  It is a program that gives adult clients and their support persons the neurobiological and brain-bases of why an eating disorder develops, persists, and specific tools to use learning how to shift trait expressions from destructive ED symptoms to productive life responses. 

It is a spring-board for ongoing eating disorder therapy.

 Psychology: 

The TBT-S Training Institute is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing edu­cation for psychologists. The TBT-S Training Institute main­tains responsibility for this program and its content.

Social Work:   

The TBT-S Training Institute, [2313], is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: [3.14.2-25-3.14.2026]. Social workers completing this course receive _ clinical continuing education credit.
